Al Milgrom

Al Milgrom is an icon of the Bronze Age of comic books known as a writer, penciller, and editor for both DC and Marvel Comics. One of the innovators of a new wave of heroes and villains, Milgrom is the co-creator of DC’s Firestorm and Killer Frost. At Marvel he worked on some of the first appearances of the Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Marvel in the early 70’s. He helped to establish another generation of legends in the 1980’s and 90’s as he worked as an editor and artist for The West Coast Avengers, Secret Wars II, The Spectacular Spider-Man, X-Factor, and the acclaimed Kitty Pride and Wolverine. Milgrom was a recent repentant of the Inkwell Award in 2017 for his amazing accomplishments in comic book history.”

Gerry Conway

Gerry Conway is a writer for comic books and television shows. He is known for co-creating the Marvel Comics vigilante antihero the Punisher and scripting the death of the character Gwen Stacy during his long run on The Amazing Spider-Man. At DC Comics, he is known for co-creating the superhero Firestorm and others, and for writing the Justice League of America for eight years. Conway wrote the first major, modern-day intercompany crossover, Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-Man!
