Ariana Richards is best known for playing the character Lex Murphy in the 1993 blockbuster film Jurassic Park. She is also known for portraying Mindy Sterngood in "Tremors" and "Tremors 3: Back to Perfection", as well as featured roles on TV shows like "The Golden Girls," "Switched at Birth," and "Boy Meets World!" From an early age, Richards has been a keen artist, with her paintings usually of landscapes and figures, tending to be impressionistic. Richards won first place in the National Professional Oil Painting Competition for her Lady of the Dahlias painting.
