Christine Elise carved her place in horror history as Kyle, the fearless teen who stood up to Chucky in “Child’s Play 2,” returned in “Cult of Chucky,” and later rejoined the franchise in the hit “Chucky” television series. Her genre credentials deepened with a memorable turn in Abel Ferrara’s haunting sci-fi thriller “Body Snatchers,” securing her reputation among horror fans. Outside the world of scares, audiences from the ’90s will remember her as the rebellious Emily Valentine, the punk-rock heartbreaker who shook up Brandon Walsh’s world on “Beverly Hills, 90210.”
