Sameertikkamasala is a pioneering cosplayer from india. He has been cosplaying for over 15 years and have the distinct honour of being the first professional cosplayer there. He has won numerous cosplay competitions nationally and internationally and has also had the honour of judging renowned cosplay competitions all over the world. He has also worked with some of the biggest companies in gaming and entertainment industry like Blizzard, Riot, Microsoft, Sony, HBO, Disney, Marvel, Amazon etc. He has also given a Ted talk on cosplay. Since 2016 he has been working in the film and television industry, designing and making costumes, props and sets, using the knowledge he has gained through years of cosplaying. So you can say that cosplay is the driving force behind his professional and personal life. He is deeply passionate about cosplay and uses every opportunity he can to share his love for it and has been actively working to promote it in India through workshops and talks. He’s honoured to have this opportunity to act as a bridge between the wonderful cosplay communities of both the countries and is super excited to be a part of this prestigious event.
