Sara Spookystitch is a queer Minnesota based professional costume technician who has been cosplaying for 21 years and running educational panels for over a decade. She is always pushing her skills to new heights, using her expertise in corsetry, mascot building, and tailoring to create dramatic structure and silhouettes. Their work has won an array of Master level awards, and chatting in the green room of a competition is one of their favorite places to be. The belief that cosplay is about connecting with community is intrinsic in all their work, from volunteering to educational content like panels and tutorials.
