Gene Ha has won five Eisners, the highest award in American comics, for his art on titles like Wonder Woman Historia: The Amazons with writer Kelly Sue DeConnick, and Top 10 with writer Alan Moore. He is the writer and artist of the series Mae, reissued in April 2025 in the new Mae: The Definitive Edition from Oni Press. It’s the story of Mae Fortell, a girl who follows her long missing sister Abbie to a world of mad science and mystery.
