Michael Kingston is the architect of the modern wrestling comics scene as the creative force behind Headlocked Comics. He has collaborated with over fifty wrestlers on stories and art, from Hall of Famers like Mick Foley, Jerry Lawler, Trish Stratus, Lita, RVD, Booker T and Sgt. Slaughter to current stars like Cody Rhodes, Penta, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, Jay White, Naomi, Samoa Joe, Christian, and Danhausen. He is best known for Headlocked, Tales from the Road, WWE, Vampiro: Rockabilly Apocalypse (winner of 2024's Best Debut), and Friday Night Bigfoot (w/ Gangrel). He is also a Japanese Wrestling Champion as the 1109th holder of the DDTPro Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship, reigning for approximately four hours in 2016.
