RCT has always been on the forefront of the industry in standards of quality and cleanliness. Simmons was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to the Board for Barber’s and Cosmetology as the state representative for the tattooing and body piercing industry and now serves as an instructor for the Red Cross.

Jessica Simmons
Jessica Simmons is the Master Piercer and owner of River City Tattoo Company in Richmond Virginia, established in 2002, where she heads the piercing apprenticeship program. Jessica has been a guest piercer nationwide for 30 years and helped write the piercing guidelines for DPOR and the state of Virginia.
Jaime Escanellas
Jaime Escanellas excels in creating bold, timeless Japanese, and American Traditional tattoos. His expertise extends from fierce dragons and hannyas to classic roses and panthers.
Stephen Horsley
Stephen Horsley is a father, artist, and tattooer based in Richmond, VA. He specializes in creating diverse tattoo styles at his home shop, and travels to conventions to expand his artistic horizons, enjoying a particular focus on stylized black and grey tattoos, from neo-traditional to realism and finer line designs.
Stephen Reaves
Stephen Reaves is passionate about the art of tattooing, with a particular fondness for the timeless styles of American traditional and traditional Japanese tattoos. He excels in black and grey work, showcasing versatility in his craft. From captivating cartoons to dynamic comics, Stephen welcomes the opportunity to bring diverse ideas to life through his unique and skilled approach to tattooing.
Morgan Strong
Morgan Strong is an artist originally from Los Angeles, CA and residing in Richmond, VA. Morgan began his piercing career in 2008 and is excited to bring his 15 years of experience to the convention floor.

Scott Calcaterra
I’m Scott Calcaterra! I have been tattooing for quite some time and have been tattooing in Richmond since 99! I am owner/operator of True Tattoo and have an amazing working relationship with RCT. We aren’t competitors, we’re friends that look out for each other! I enjoy tattooing large scale Japanese and American traditional when I’m working at home. I have participated in close to or over 100 tattoo conventions and while traveling enjoy making fun small tattoos! My personal life… I have a teenage son and 4 dogs. I collect old 80’s bmx bikes. That’s me!!
