In general, animals are not permitted inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center except in the following instances:
Service animals, which the Americans with Disabilities Act defines as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. The dog must be trained to take a specific action when needed to assist individuals with disabilities. Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. Also, service animals in training are not considered service animals under the ADA.
Attendees requiring assistance from a service animal may pick up a fast pass button at the Information and Accessibility Booth, which will allow them access to the fast lane in the autograph and photo ops area of the convention.
All sanitary needs for animals are the responsibility of the handler, and the animal must remain under the handler's control at all times.
While it is not necessary, we encourage attendees with assistive animals to contact facility management at (614) 827-2500 in advance of the event to ensure the most appropriate accommodation for the attendee and their animal.
Those requiring assistance from their PCA may request a complimentary companion day pass at the Information and Accessibility Booth. This pass grants the PCA access to the event as well as a fast pass for autographs and photo ops in the celebrity area. PCAs are not granted VIP badges, even if the person requiring assistance has a VIP pass.
If you have any accessibility requirements or restrictions, you can find the Information and Accessibility Booth located in the main registration area. We’re happy to help any attendee who requires assistance with information regarding accessibility.

You can reserve a scooter by calling 614-827-2531Â and paying by credit card. Our staff can also provide a list of companies that rent electric wheelchairs if you wish. Please note that advanced reservations are encouraged for scooters and/or wheelchairs.
Pro Tip: Grab your 18+ wristband prior to renting a wheelchair/scooter.
