Enter the loading dock from Leigh Street, near the intersection of 3rd & Leigh Streets. A security guard at the red guard booth will issue a temporary parking pass for unloading / loading and provide further instruction. The temporary parking pass will include your cell phone number and booth name / number in case we need to contact you.
If you are unloading / loading a trailer, box truck, semi-trailer truck, or a larger van, you will be directed by a security guard to utlilize the truck bays on the left side of the loading dock. The security guard will indicate which bay (#1 - #16) you should use to park and unload / load.
If you are unloading / loading a personal vehicle, you will be directed to Ramp D or Ramp A, depending on the Hall being utilized and / or your booth location. You will be instructed by the security guard to park diagonally between the cones so as to make it easier to back down the ramp in reverse when departing the area. The exit from the dock is next to the entrance - pull up to the gate adn it will rise automatically.
For load-in, the GRCC asks you unload your belongings, bring to your booth, and then remove your vehicle beforee setting up. For load-out, the GRCC asks you have your booth packed prior to bringing your car to the cock for loading.
Please contact the show decorator for shipment and drayage options. In absence of a decorator, please contact show managment for more information.
There are several surface lots and parking garages in the vicinity of GRCC. Check with the Exhibitor Services Desk inside the Exhibit Hall for more info if needed. A limited number of loading dock parking passes may be available for purchase, dependent on event activity.
The GRCC recommends purchasing in advance at richmondcenter.com/utlities. If you need to order on-site, see the Exhibitor Services Desk set up inside the Exhibit Hall.
The GRCC has a limited number of flatbed carts available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please ask a security guard for assistance. A photo ID is required and held until returned.
