Parking at the Savannah Convention Center

Starting February 8, 2025, the Savannah Convention Center (SCC) will launch a frictionless, pay by phone, parking system with Metropolis Parking featuring computer vision technology. This means our guests can now experience seamless, checkout-free payments—just drive in and out with no lines, cash, tickets, or apps. This hassle-free system saves time, reduces congestion, and enhances convenience for a smoother arrival experience.

1) How does it work?

  • First-time visitors: Upon arrival, scan the QR code posted throughout the parking lot and garage. Enter your license plate number and select a contactless payment option. When you’re ready to leave, simply drive out—your payment will be processed automatically, and a text receipt will be sent to you.
  • Returning visitors: If you’ve already registered, no additional steps are needed. Simply park, enjoy your event, and exit—no stopping or scanning required.

2) Parking options & rates

  • Surface Lot: $10
  • Parking Garage: $20
  • Please note that on high-attendance days, an overflow lot will be available with shuttle service to and from the convention center. The overflow lot rate is $5.00

3) Do I have in-and-out privileges?

  • No, each entry is considered a new visit and will be charged accordingly at the time of exit.

4) Can I reserve parking?

  • Not at this time, but it is something that may be available in the future.

5) Cancellation policy

  • Once you drive in the garage or lot, you will have a30-minute grace period in which you can exit without being charged.

7) Additional fees
